Appalachian Trail Project

Trail Magic – Send a Little Love Down the Line

We’re currently thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and documenting every muddy mile, stunning overlook, and sleepy shelter in real-time, all to create our next illustrated field journal (the sequel to A Footpath from Mexico to Canada). Every donation goes toward keeping us fueled, rested, resupplied, and able to share magic with the hikers we meet along the way. Whether it’s a pizza drop at a shelter, restocking first aid for others, or just giving weary hikers a cold drink. Every bit of help lifts us—and others—along the way.

Leave a note with your order if there’s something specific you want your donation to go toward—or trust us to pass the good vibes forward.

No shipping. No returns. Just gratitude and trail dust.

Feel free to send trail magic via Venmo or Cash App if you like :)

Field Journal In Progress...

Each of these paintings are hand-painted by Robert N. Riedel, also known on the Appalachian Trail as
Birdcall. Created along the trail itself, these pieces capture the spirit, solitude, and raw beauty of the journey as it unfolds. They will be featured in our upcoming book, currently being written in real time by Suzie Riedel (Bossbae), who is documenting our thru-hike in a detailed daily field journal. Both original paintings and fine art prints are available for purchase. Shipping takes place upon our return home to Tennessee.
