Maine is one of the states my husband hiked of the AT. I thought it would be special, since the view of Katadin was from the trail. I am having a custom frame for the painting.

Robert’s rendition of Mount Katahdin and the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. I am so happy with it and can’t wait to frame and hang. We stood in that exact spot about a week after Robert painted this, looking out over Rainbow Lake to Mt. Katahdin. He captured not just the beauty but the essence of the scene, which offers NOBOs their best view yet of their destination.
